How do I know if Holistic Axis is right for me?

We provide a complimentary 20-minute consultation to connect with you personally, as no form of texting or emailing can replace the value of real interaction.

If you are seeking lasting, transformative change, you have already taken the right step by reaching out to us.

To help us understand your situation more effectively, please complete our intake forms prior to the consultation.

During the consultation, you are encouraged to ask any questions you may have.

We recommend preparing a private, quiet space for the session and having a glass of water nearby. Take some time beforehand to consider what you'd like to share with us.

Please note that this consultation is designed to assess your needs and explore potential pathways, but it is not a therapy session.

How do I book?

You will be redirected to our booking system, where you can explore available dates and times. To confirm your booking, payment is required in advance.

Select the session format, type, date, and time that best suits your needs. The system will prompt you to create a client account, which is a quick and essential step. Through your account, you can enable reminders, communications and complete all necessary documents to begin accessing our services. Once your booking is finalized, you will receive a confirmation email containing all relevant details.

We usually reply in less than 2 hours but it may take up to 12 working hours at busy times.

Any communication sent over the weekends will be responded to on the following Monday.

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify us promptly by emailing contact@holisticaxis.com or texting +447863228405 (Clinic Manager). Timely communication is essential, as a missed appointment prevents us from offering that time to others in need.

How do I use your services?

To access our services, you must create a Holistic Axis account. As part of the process, you will be required to review, accept, and sign our Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. Additionally, prepayment for the service is necessary unless you are a case study participant or the recipient of a gift voucher.

How do I pay?

When registering for a regular service, you agree to pay monthly fees in advance.

Payments for one-off sessions must be made exclusively through the booking system.

For regular clients, payments are processed solely via Direct Debit on a monthly basis, scheduled on a mutually agreed date for your convenience. Before setting up a Direct Debit, you may receive a one-time invoice to cover sessions occurring prior to the activation of the Direct Debit. The Direct Debit amount is calculated to account for variations in session schedules across longer and shorter months.

In the event of service cancellation, in accordance with our 14-working-day cancellation policy, any remaining balance on your account will be refunded. This policy also applies upon termination of services.

Your regular session slot will be reserved until one week before your final scheduled session. However, if you delay booking or payment, we cannot guarantee the availability of your regular slot.

In special circumstances, alternative financial arrangements may be discussed and agreed upon.

How do I set up a direct debit ?

Which service is right for me?

A free consultation is provided for a direct interaction and to assist in determining which service aligns best with your needs.

While counselling is a widely recognised option for personal support, it may not always be the most suitable choice for your specific circumstances.

If you find the questions challenging, you are welcome to book a free consultation, where our expert facilitator will guide you in identifying your needs and recommending the most suitable pathway.

Please note that the free consultation comes with no obligation to sign up for our services.

What do I need to know about complementary therapies?

Complementary therapies are not a substitute for conventional medical treatment but are intended to work alongside it. If you have any medical conditions, please consult your GP beforehand, as certain treatments may interact with your medical care.

We kindly ask that you disclose all medical conditions to ensure your Practitioner can tailor the therapy to suit your needs and abilities. This is essential for your safety.

Reiki treatment involves gentle physical touch without the need to remove clothing, with personal privacy respected at all times.

Sound therapy is a non-contact treatment, except for Sound Massage, where Himalayan bowls are placed on the body and gently moved across it. Please note that there are contraindications to sound therapy, and it may not be suitable for everyone. If you have specific health concerns, book a free consultation or email us on contact@holisticaxis.com prior to booking a session.

If you are pregnant, please let us know. For safety reasons, we do not provide complementary therapy treatments during the early stages of pregnancy (0–3 months) due to its delicate nature.

How much does it cost?

The cost of services varies depending on the type of service and, in certain cases, your individual circumstances. You can find the current pricing details HERE

How long is each session? What if I am late?

Each session lasts 45 minutes, with the conclusion marked by a sound.

Please plan to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled session time.

If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time to accommodate subsequent appointments.

How long does it take?

Our services are offered in an open-ended format, allowing us to support you for as long as you need—no more and no less.

The duration of the process varies based on the type of service and individual circumstances, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We avoid rigid frameworks because each person is unique.

Your process is always tailored to your needs and regularly discussed with your best interests at heart. Please note that booking a single session is unlikely to yield meaningful results.

A long-term commitment to process is significantly more effective in achieving lasting change. It not only deepens self-awareness but also provides a practical framework for developing new skills and integrating changes into your life. Furthermore, it allows you to address underlying layers that must be explored to achieve true personal freedom.

The process takes the time it naturally requires—it cannot be rushed or delayed. We encourage you to fully embrace the journey with honesty, openness, and perseverance. Your facilitator is committed to supporting you every step of the way, so please feel free to share anything that arises during your journey without reservation.

What if I want to reschedule my session?

We kindly ask that you adhere to our 48-hour notice period for rescheduling sessions, as outlined in the terms and conditions agreed upon during the registration process.

Requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment may not be accommodated, and a full charge will be applied for the session.

What happens when my Facilitator goes on holiday?

Your Practitioner will take planned breaks several times throughout the year, typically during spring, summer, and winter. You will be informed of these dates well in advance.

As part of our commitment to maintaining the health and well-being of our Practitioners, we continuously monitor their fitness to work. In rare cases, sessions may need to be canceled at short notice due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.

Should any changes occur, we will notify you as promptly as possible and ensure your sessions are either rescheduled or, if necessary, provide an alternative therapist to support your needs.

What if I want to stop?

If our services are not working for you for any reason, you have the option to stop at any time.

However, we ask that you first discuss this decision with your Facilitator. Ending the therapeutic or coaching relationship is a collaborative process and should not be a hasty or one-sided decision.

This relationship is designed to be supportive, and while it may be challenging at times, it is important to acknowledge that difficulties can be worked through. Open communication with your Practitioner is essential during these moments.

When approached together, challenging times can lead to significant progress. Both parties must be committed to seeing things through to ensure a positive outcome.

If either you or your Facilitator believe it is time to end the experience, the decision should be made jointly. Typically, sessions are tapered gradually to help prepare you for the next phase.

Should you decide to withdraw from the process, a 14-working-day notice period is required. You are welcome to utilise the sessions within this notice period or schedule them for check-in sessions at a later date.

If you discontinue sessions abruptly, you will be responsible for the fees associated with this notice period as outlined in the service agreement signed when you began therapy with us.


Am I safe to share my personal life with a stranger?

In our practice, facilitators adhere to the ethical guidelines of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the Association of Spiritual Integrity (ASI), the UK Reiki Federation, and our own spiritual principles.

Your well-being is always our priority.

All matters discussed in sessions are treated with strict confidentiality. However, there are legal and ethical circumstances where confidentiality must be breached, including:

  • If we become aware that you or someone you know is involved in acts of terrorism, money laundering, or drug trafficking, we are legally obligated to notify the authorities without your consent.
  • If you are involved in a case at the Magistrates' Court, session notes may be requested through a court order.
  • A coroner may also request access to session notes as part of an inquest.


Additionally, if we believe there is an immediate risk of serious harm to you or someone you know, we are duty-bound to take action. While we are not required to notify the authorities immediately, we may need to act to ensure safety.

In such instances, we strive to discuss the situation with you first, working together to determine the best course of action and appropriate support to minimise risk effectively.

What is the nature of the relationship between Client and Facilitator?

To maintain a professional, ethical, safe, and supportive relationship between a Facilitator and a Client, it is important to establish clear boundaries:

  • Our relationship is professional, not social.
  • Communication will be limited to session-related matters
  • Unrelated calls, messages, or other forms of contact will not be responded to.
  • For counselling clients, if a Facilitator encounters you in the community, they will acknowledge you with a simple “Hello” in response, but will not engage in social interaction.

How do I prepare for an online complementary therapy session?

Before the Appointment:

  • Prepare a glass of water, tissues, a cushion, and a blanket to ensure comfort during the session.
  • Create a relaxing space where you can lie down comfortably.
  • If you’d like to enhance the experience with relaxation music, feel free to use this recording.
  • Ensure your space is private and free from distractions.

Before the Treatment:

  • Settle into your space 10 minutes before the scheduled session.
  • Remove any watches or restrictive accessories.
  • Take a few deep breaths and reflect on your emotional and psychological state to prepare for the session.
  • Log into the online meeting room following the instructions provided in your email.

During the Treatment:

  • Lie down, relax, and allow yourself to fully engage with the treatment, you cannot do anything wrong, it doesn't matter if your mind is busy or not, just allow yourself to open and accept the experience

After the Treatment:

  • The facilitator will gently guide you back to the room.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water on the day of the session and for the next 2–3 days.
  • Listen to your body—rest as needed if you feel tired or embrace any energy surges, both of which are natural responses.
  • Occasionally, mild symptoms like a headache or stomach discomfort may arise due to the natural cleansing process. If you have any concerns, please email us at contact@holisticaxis.com.

How do I prepare for a Reiki session?

Preparing for a Reiki session involves creating a relaxed and open state of mind to maximise its benefits. Here are some tips to help you prepare:

Set your intention. Reflect on what you hope to gain from the session, whether it’s relaxation, emotional healing, or clarity. Setting a clear intention can help focus the energy work.

Stay hydrated before your session, as energy work can shift the flow of energy and toxins in the body. Preferably, from a day before and up to three days following your session, eat light meals, avoiding heavy or greasy foods that might make you feel sluggish.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing to help you relax fully during the session.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or other stimulants for a couple of days before and up to three days after the session to keep your energy balanced and receptive.

Arriving a few minutes early allows you to settle in and transition from the outside world to the healing space without feeling rushed.

Reiki involves gentle, non-invasive energy work. Approach it with an open mind and let go of any preconceived notions or expectations.

Share any concerns, physical discomforts, or emotional challenges with the facilitator beforehand to tailor the session to your needs.

Silence your phone and other devices to maintain a distraction-free environment. Take off your watch.

Engage in deep breathing or light meditation before the session to calm your mind and body.

Give yourself time to process the experience post-session. Drink water, rest, and reflect on how you feel to integrate the healing benefits. Your system will need about three days to rebalance.

Approaching your Reiki session with mindfulness and self-care enhances its impact, helping you get the most out of the experience.
