You may be highly capable and self-aware, while also carrying mental overload, emotional intensity, inconsistent attention or cycles of burnout. Sonia works with neurodivergent people, including people with ADHD and autistic clients.

Conventional ways of organising life do not work for everyone. The aim is not to make you function more conventionally. It is to understand how your mind and nervous system actually work, and identify what is unnecessarily working against you.

Therapy & Coaching brings emotional understanding together with practical support for energy, attention and boundaries. The work is shaped around your needs, helping you find ways to live and work with greater steadiness and less strain.

You can also explore personal Therapy & Coaching for anxiety and burnout, or couples and relationship support if you would like to work together with a partner.

When keeping up costs too much

You may spend your working day managing attention, reading other people or hiding how much effort ordinary demands require. By the time you reach home, a conversation, decision or unexpected change can feel like one demand too many. The people around you may see your competence while missing the strain behind it.

You can bring that whole experience into the work: anxiety, shame about inconsistency, emotional overwhelm, relationship friction or the exhaustion of masking. You do not need to turn it into a neat explanation before a first conversation.

Support shaped around your experience

Talk with Sonia about what makes a session easier to use. That might include a clearer focus, more time to process a question, a pause when you feel overloaded or returning to a practical example instead of staying with an abstract idea. The pace and balance of reflection and action are discussed with you.

The work can explore where your energy goes, what sensory and social demands cost you, and how to communicate needs without treating them as a personal failure. The aim is to find changes that fit your life, rather than add another set of expectations to meet.

From understanding to something you can use

You might begin with one recurring situation: becoming overwhelmed by messages, saying yes before you have considered your capacity, or withdrawing after a demanding day. Together, you explore what happens before, during and after it, then choose a different response to try.

Between sessions, notice whether that response helped and what made it difficult. A useful change may be smaller than you expected: a clearer boundary, a recovery period after social contact or a more direct conversation with someone close to you. It can be adjusted as you learn.

Your life, beyond a label

Sonia offers therapeutic and coaching support, rather than diagnostic assessment. You can discuss your experience, whether you have a diagnosis, are exploring what neurodivergence means for you or are uncertain about the language that fits. Any medical or diagnostic questions belong with an appropriately qualified clinician.

Sonia’s training includes personal counselling, relationship counselling and life coaching. You can explore the qualifications and hear clients describe their own experiences before deciding whether the work feels right for you.
